I do not understand NHL officiating at all, not at all. Schenn gets tripped and gets called for a penalty because of him falling as a result of getting fouled.

I believe Radulov only got called for his trip because it was similar to the slew foot they should have called on him Friday. They may have been looking for that type of play from him.

Schenn gets a penalty for being tripped, Bishop initiates contact with Maroon outside of the crease and Maroon gets a penalty... Dallas is having this game handed to them on a silver platter.

Based on some post-whistle conversations the officials had with Maroon last game, I think they have been warning him about the goalie contact.

They missed that one, but it looks like they are going to call a tight game. Thought the "slash" call that resulted in the goal was pretty weak too.

Officiating has been bad both ways.

Tight until they don't which is the problem with calling a tight game, they never stick to it fully. Forget whether you want them to call a tight game or not, it's almost an impossible standard for them to maintain.

I missed it, where are the power plays Blues got when they were actually the team that should have been penalized? When should Stars have had a 5 on 3, but instead it was a 4 on 4?

Not all officiating mistakes are equal. Some questionable calls have gone against both teams. But the egregious stuff has all gone against the Blues.

There you go Antilles. Even though they made the right call and let play continue, a lot of refs would have blown that dead.

Yep, surprised because refs would have been justified in blowing the play dead. They clearly didn't think the injury was severe. The fact Bishop didn't think the injury was severe enough to warrant him coming out of the game means they made the right call, but I'm sure that will be lost on all of the Stars fans.

This was a case of his flopping biting him. The refs were right not to blow it dead with the Blues in possession. I mean, he didn't even come out of the game. If you are truly hurt you don't stay in the game.

Sick of the flopping. If he plays on Tuesday, I'm shooting high and tight all night on him.

Bishop is going to be the starter. I guess he was flopping on this one as well......

Either way, if I am the Blues I am shooting high and tight early and often. Blais goal was because Bishop was worried about the shoulder. Looked glove, shot high blocker. Bishop caught cheating glove side and it blew by him high blocker before he even moved his blocker.

Colton needs to tee it up on his first chance and just bomb away. Get in his head early.

Please never call a player by their first name. Ha ha ha

Either way, he has a bomb of a shot and should tee it up more often. Chances are if it does get saved there will be a juicy rebound, or as we have seen it might squeeze through Bishop. That has happened a lot but unfortunately it has gone wide for us. I think Bishop is an average goalie that uses his size to his benefit and is protected by above avg defense. He is very beatable His save percentage comes from lots of low scoring shots

Ryan needs to win a bunch of faceoffs, Jayden needs to keep up with the hot tub time machine back to when he was good, Tarasenko needs to snipe a power play goal or two, Jordan needs to stop all the pucks.

I could keep going, but I am tired of typing....
